The Italy Easter Retreat was a precious time of grace, fellowship, and spiritual renewal. Throughout the retreat, members gathered together to worship, listen to the Word of God, serve one another, and share joyful moments as one church community.

During the retreat, participants enjoyed various outdoor activities, including badminton, table tennis, and basketball. These moments created a lively and relaxed atmosphere where members could laugh together, build friendships, and enjoy a refreshing time of fellowship. Children also joined in the joy through a special egg hunting activity, which brought excitement, smiles, and laughter to everyone.

Alongside the joyful fellowship, many members also served one another with willing hearts. From preparing meals and cleaning to helping with different tasks, each act of service became an expression of love and care. Through both fellowship and service, members were able to grow closer, support one another, and experience the beauty of sharing life together in Christ.

A special time was also given for testimonies, where many participants came forward to share the grace they received during the retreat. Their testimonies revealed deep gratitude, repentance, renewed faith, and a stronger desire to live for God.

One participant shared how deeply they felt God working among the members:

“I can feel God. I can see and feel that He is working in each one of us. I came to understand His love more deeply, and it reminded me of the heart I should have. I was especially touched by the unseen service behind this retreat. So much preparation was done so that we could receive grace.”

The participant also reflected on the growth of the church, giving thanks for how God has been leading the community. What began with only a few people has now grown into a larger gathering of believers seeking the Lord together.

“This is a spiritual milestone for our church. It is amazing to see so many people desiring to know the Lord. I also reflected on how I should not take God’s grace for granted. All the messages were full of grace, and I will leave this place transformed by His love.”

Another participant, attending a retreat abroad for the first time, shared deep gratitude for how God had guided their journey of faith.

“Since 2020, I had been searching for a church, and years later, God led me here. Before that, I asked God for a sign, and He answered. The messages touched me deeply. I was reminded that God calls sinners, and even though I sometimes feel unworthy, His love remains.”

Through the retreat, they received peace and a renewed desire to serve God more faithfully.

“Do not give up on God, because He has never given up on you.”

Another testimony expressed thankfulness for being part of a community that truly desires to worship God and follow His will. Through the messages, the participant came to understand more clearly their purpose in Christ.

“Jesus gave everything for me, and now I also want to share this hope with others. The grace I received here is the strength I will carry back to my city to continue mission work.”

They were especially touched by 1 Corinthians 15:58, which reminded them that nothing done for the Lord is in vain.

“I once felt alone and afraid, but now I know I have a Father. The resurrection shows us that darkness is not the end. Christ has the final word over our lives.”

Another participant reflected that Easter had once felt like a routine event, but through the retreat, God awakened their heart again.

“Worship and evangelism had become monotonous for me, and I had forgotten the greatness of His love. Through the messages and songs, I was deeply moved. When we sang about victory over death, I realized that even though I could not overcome on my own, Christ has already won for me. This is grace.”

They shared a renewed desire to live each day declaring Christ’s victory and giving glory to God.

Another testimony spoke about the power of God to bring true change and healing.

“There were times in my life when I thought I could not change, but God showed me that true change is possible. Through the retreat, I realized how much shame I carried — fear of people’s opinions and judgment. But I learned that shame can block us from receiving grace.”

The participant testified that when we fully trust God and pour out our hearts to Him, He responds with love and restoration.

“God does not reject a broken heart. In the end, He truly changes us, and it is worth everything.”

One participant also shared a deep reflection on the love of Christ revealed through the Cross:

“During this time of retreat, meditation on the Word, and prayer, what God has done in my heart has been beautiful. I have cried a lot, but I believe it is a cry of hope — a hope that transcends circumstances and embraces the way of the cross.”

They expressed how meditating on the sacrifice of Jesus gave them renewed hope and a desire to share the same grace and peace with others.

“Meditating on the passionate love of Christ inspires me to love as He does, even if it is difficult, even if it involves pain and hardship. I believe I will speak with more conviction because I have experienced the resurrection in my life.”

Another participant gave thanks for the messages and spiritual guidance received throughout the retreat.

“The guidance we received reminded us to remain humble and seek God’s wisdom. Even though we are weak and full of sin, God’s unconditional love heals and restores us.”

Reflecting on challenges and difficulties, they shared that trials should not shake our faith but lead us to trust more deeply in God’s grace.

“Jesus not only died for our sins but overcame death to justify us. As I return home, I want to empty myself and be transformed by His grace.”

Through worship, fellowship, service, prayer, and heartfelt testimonies, the Italy Easter Retreat became more than a time of gathering. It was a meaningful moment of renewal and transformation, where many encountered the love of God in a personal and powerful way.

Participants returned home with grateful hearts, strengthened faith, and a renewed calling to live for Christ, serve one another, and share the hope of the resurrection with others.
